Dr. Eleonora Romero graduated with High Honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1993. She enjoys educating and working together with clients in order to keep all furry family members healthy. Dr. Romero has resided in Florida since 1982. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She loves spending time with her husband and college sweetheart, Aldo, their two sons, Gabriel and Daniel, and fur babies, Jack and Scrubs (rescued cat siblings).

Dr. Karina Falcon was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is fluent in English and Spanish. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico, she headed to the Midwest and the University of Missouri to study veterinary medicine. She loves all aspects of being veterinarian! It has been her calling ever since she was little. During her time off, she enjoys traveling, relaxing under the sun, trying new places to eat, and watching Netflix and anime. She and her husband Armando share their home with their college cat Misty and rescue dog Sansa.

Dr. Andrea Rodriguez is a double Gator, completing both her Bachelors in Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida. A South Florida native, she knew she wanted to return to her hometown to bring accessible veterinary care to her community. She is passionate about educating owners and improving the lives of their beloved furry family members. Dr. A is USDA accredited, certified in Animal Technical Rescue, and is fluent in both English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys camping with her dogs (Allie and Luna) and taking care of her saltwater aquarium.

Originally from Spruce Pine, North Carolina our bird specialist, Dr. Biddix (previously Dr. Flinchum), completed her undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University, then attended the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine. She treats birds exclusively- at Nova, at her own bird hospital in Palm Beach county, and at many south Florida aviaries, where her patients include flamingoes and black swans.

Growing up in Plantation Dr. Meg Formoso knew at a very young age that she wanted to be a "pet doctor". After attending the University of Florida for both her bachelor's degree and her veterinary degree, she returned home to practice. She shares her home with big dog Teddy, little dog Benny, kitty cat Lucy, and hubby Juan. When time allows, Dr. Formoso enjoys playing piano, travelling, and, of course, Gator football.

Karina is the Veterinary Practice Manager at Nova, where she's been proudly serving since 2016. With over 10 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician and a background as a U.S. Navy veteran, she brings dedication, leadership, and a deep love for animals to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys life with her son Gabriel and their two beloved cats, Eeve aka Baby Cat and Felix the Cat.

Anna adores animals and has five kitties of her own. Joining the team in 2020 she really enjoys greeting the clients and the patients. When not at work she relaxes by traveling with her husband- and napping.

Elyse is from Brooklyn, New York and has lived in the Midwest, North Carolina, and the U.S. Virgin Islands before settling in South Florida. In the veterinary field for over 15 years she has a passion for helping clients and their pets through every phase of their journey. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with her daughter and sharing her home with her 2 felines, TT and Buppie.

Kimberly has spent 12 years as a veterinary receptionist, where her passion for animals shines through in every interaction. When she's not at the clinic, she enjoys the simple pleasures of the outdoors and spending time at home with her black cat, Banshee, who loves causing havoc around the house. Her years of experience have deepened her appreciation for all creatures, and she brings warmth and care to everything she does with animals.

Catherine is a pre-veterinary student whose life revolves around fur, whiskers, and wagging tails. Her biggest dream is becoming a veterinarian, inspired every day by her two kitties, Suki and Koi. In her free time, she is usually drawing, painting, or getting a good workout in. She is bilingual and loves helping out however she can! She loves balancing creativity, strength, and her passion for animals as she works toward her future in veterinary medicine.

Originally from Guyana, Keziah has been a veterinary nurse for over a decade. At work she loves helping all creatures, great and small. At home she has four cats and LOTS of shrimp. Her hobby is growing aquarium moss and succulents.

In the field for over 25 years, Sheri enjoys being hands-on with all pet patients- furred, feathered, and scaled. She is often asked for by name. Married with two kids, at home she has three cats, three dogs, and many reptiles of her own.

Haven grew up in Davie, Florida. Being raised around animals she always knew she would end up working with them. At home she has several rescue cats and 3 beloved dogs. Haven loves all animals from horses to hamsters and plans on furthering her education in the veterinary field.

Born and raised in Miami Florida, he has always had a deep love for animals and always wanted to work in the veterinary medicine field. When he’s not working, he enjoys working out, reading a good book, and watching anime. He loves learning new things and approaching life with an open mind and a positive attitude.

Janelin has always had a soft spot for companion animals—they truly make life brighter. Whether she’s spending time with them, caring for their needs, or simply enjoying their company, animals have a special way of bringing out the best in her. She’s also passionate about staying healthy and active, both for herself and the ones she loves. For Janelin, happiness is simple: good health, good energy, and the joy of being around furry friends!

Dominique is a dedicated veterinary technician with a passion for animal care and a commitment to excellence. A graduate of West Broward High and its veterinary assisting program, she enjoys tackling complex cases—especially managing skin allergies in dogs—and finds great satisfaction in helping pets feel their best. Outside of work, Dominique is an enthusiastic Florida Panthers fan who loves cheering on her team. In her free time, she enjoys reading and taking long walks with her Dalmatian, Pongo.

Rachel has an unwavering love for animals and a passion for art. Caring for your incredible creatures is her greatest joy. From a young age animals have held a special place in her heart. Now she gets to dedicate her time to their well-being. Whether it's administering medications, providing tender care, cleaning or simply spending quality time with them, she loves every second of her time at work. Making a positive difference in pets’ lives is what truly lights up her world.

Zoe has found a passion for animals, specifically birds and exotics. When she isn’t busy studying or working, she enjoys reading and playing with her cockatiel Coconut, as well as her two bunnies, Matcha and Mocha.

Zack grew up in Southwest Ranches and has taken care of many types of animals throughout his entire life. A graduate of West Broward High he now studies mechanical engineering at FAU. He enjoys working with animals very much.

Finding his way to our team in 2021, Bart is a parrot (note his two toe forward/ two toe backward food positioning). Tiny but mighty, he keeps a watchful side eye on every visitor. And make no mistake- he has his favorites! When not on duty, Bart enjoys hanging out on his personal perch in the doctors’ office, or lounging in the break room. His work ethic and fierce loyalty to the team make him the heart of the hospital.
